Megan sat on the couch, her heart racing as she finished her last bite of the hamburger. It had been so delicious, but now she was paying the price for her gluttony. She couldn't believe her stomach was already making such strange noises, and the pain was starting to spread throughout her entire body. What was wrong with her?
She had always been a big eater, but lately, she'd been craving food more than ever. She thought it was just because she was stressed out from work and her personal life, but now she wasn't so sure. Maybe it was something else entirely.
As she set the empty wrapper down on the coffee table, she let out a huge sigh. That's when it happened. A fart so loud and so putrid that it made her eyes water. She covered her mouth with her hand, horror-struck at the realization that her body was producing these farts on its own.
She tried to stand up, but the pain was too much. She clutched her stomach, wincing as another fart escaped her tight bottom. She couldn't understand what was happening to her. She'd never experienced anything like this before.
"Megan, are you okay?" her roommate, Sarah, asked, walking into the room.
Megan looked up at her, tears streaming down her face. "I... I think I'm sick," she managed to say between gasps for air.
Sarah rushed over to her side, concern written all over her face. "What's wrong? What happened?"
"I don't know," Megan whimpered. "I just ate this hamburger, and now my stomach hurts, and I can't stop farting."
Sarah's eyes widened. "Did you order from Gf Studios?"
Megan nodded, realizing the truth behind her pain. She remembered reading online that Gf Studios had been having problems with their food quality recently. They had even had to issue a recall on one of their products due to a high number of complaints about stomach cramps and uncontrollable flatulence.
"I'm taking you to the hospital," Sarah announced, helping Megan to her feet.
As they made their way to the car, Megan couldn't help but wonder how long it would take for her body to return to normal. And what would happen if it didn't? She shuddered at the thought, hoping that the doctors would be able to help her before it was too late.
