Title: A Messy Situation at the Buffet

Nathan was nervous as he walked into the upscale Italian restaurant with his date, Alex. He had been saving up for weeks just to afford this night out, and he couldn't help but feel a twinge of dread as they approached the buffet table. His date, Alex, was a tubby, curvy man with an infectious laugh and a love for all things delicious. Nathan worried that Alex's insatiable appetite might ruin their romantic evening.
As they filled their plates with spaghetti, garlic bread, and various other dishes, Nathan couldn't help but notice the growing bulge in Alex's stomach. It was almost as if he could see the food piling up inside him, threatening to erupt at any moment. Alex seemed oblivious to his discomfort, happily chatting away about their plans for dessert.
"Oh my god, Nathan, have you tried the cannoli?" Alex asked, his eyes lighting up. "They're to die for!"
Nathan couldn't help but feel a knot forming in his stomach. He knew that if they didn't stop soon, things were going to get messy - both literally and figuratively. As Alex reached for another cannoli, Nate grabbed his hand and whispered softly, "Maybe we should slow down a bit, okay?"
Alex looked at him with pleading eyes, and Nathan felt his resolve begin to weaken. He knew how much this night meant to Alex, and he didn't want to ruin it for him. Before he could change his mind, however, a rumbling sound emanated from Alex's stomach. It was loud enough to make everyone at nearby tables turn their heads.
Alex looked down at his distended stomach in horror. "I think I'm going to puke," he muttered, his face blushing red with embarrassment.
Nathan quickly led him to a quiet corner of the restaurant, where they could sit down and hopefully avoid any further disasters. As they waited for the waitstaff to bring them some water and a rag, Nathan couldn't help but stare at the expanding bulge in Alex's stomach. It was like watching a balloon being inflated, slowly taking on a life of its own.
Finally, after what felt like hours, the waitstaff arrived with the necessary supplies. Nathan helped Alex rinse his mouth out and wipe off his face while trying not to gag himself from the stench of partially digested food. Once they had managed to clean up as much as possible, they decided to call it a night.
As they were leaving the restaurant, Nathan couldn't help but feel a mixture of emotions: relief that the night was finally over, sadness that their romantic evening had been ruined, and a strange sense of pride for sticking by Alex's side through thick and thin. He wrapped his arms around Alex's thick waist, feeling the warmth of his body against his own.
"I'm so sorry about tonight," Alex muttered, burying his face in Nathan's chest. "I really messed up."
Nathan squeezed him gently. "Hey, it's okay. You can't help it when you're as gassy as a balloon," he joked, trying to lighten the mood. "Maybe next time we'll just have a quiet dinner at home."
Alex laughed softly, nodding in agreement. As they walked to their car, they couldn't help but feel a new sense of closeness, having survived their wild and messy buffet adventure together.
