Ariel glared at the girl she once called her best friend. They had shared countless secrets, tears, and laughs over the years, but now all that seemed to matter was the cruel lie that had been spread about her. Her heart felt like it was being stomped on by an army of boots, and the only thing she could think to do was to exact revenge.
She marched over to the girl's bedroom, grabbing a roll of duct tape from the closet. Without a word, she pressed it firmly over her friend's mouth, sealing her lips shut. The girl's eyes widened in terror as she realized what was happening.
"I trusted you," Ariel spat, her voice shaking with anger. "I told you things I never told anyone else, and this is how you repay me?"
The girl tried to speak through her tears, but all that came out was a muffled whimper. Ariel ignored her, instead walking over to her bed and flopping down on it. She took a deep breath and closed her eyes, trying to calm herself down. But the anger and hurt were too much.
She let out a sigh, the exhale accompanied by a thick, putrid fart. It filled the room, making both girls wretch. Ariel grinned maliciously, her eyes opening to reveal a twisted sense of glee.
"Now you get to experience what it's like to deal with me," she laughed manically. "You're going to smell my farts deeply, and there's nothing you can do about it."
With that, she let loose another stinker, making sure to point it directly at her friend's face. The girl struggled against the tape, but it held firm, trapping her in a world of Ariel's making. Tears streamed down her cheeks as she was forced to inhale the rancid air, feeling like she was drowning in the stench.
Hours passed, and Ariel continued to rain down foul-smelling gas upon her friend. She laughed maniacally every time the girl flinched or gagged, taking pleasure in her torment. Finally, unable to take any more, she ripped the tape off of her friend's mouth.
The girl gasped for air, coughing and retching from the overwhelming smell that had been trapped inside her. Tears streamed down her face, and she could only whimper in response to Ariel's final words.
"This is what you get for betraying me," she spat. "You thought you could just walk all over me, didn't you? Well, you were wrong."
With that, Ariel turned and left the room, slamming the door behind her. The girl curled up into a ball, trying to get the putrid stench out of her nostrils, wondering how she could have ever thought this was a friend.
