Ariel woke up with a start, her stomach aching and her abdomen cramping. She rolled out of bed, her sheets tangled around her legs, and made a beeline for the bathroom. As she walked, she clutched her stomach, trying to suppress the growing urge to fart.
The door to the bathroom swung open, revealing the porcelain throne within. Ariel rushed inside, locking the door behind her. She took a deep breath, feeling her body release a small, yet audible fart. She sighed in relief, thinking she had gotten it out of her system.
But the relief was short-lived. Another wave of gas hit her, more intense than the first. She doubled over, grasping her stomach as her body surrendered to the pressure. The sound of ripping fabric filled the air as her jeans gave way to the force of her farts.
Desperate now, she searched under the sink, hoping to find something to ease her discomfort. Her fingers wrapped around a familiar bottle of pills, but hesitated to pop one into her mouth. She had heard horror stories about how they could make things worse.
As she stood there, undecided, she felt another gush of air escape her bowels. This time, it was uncontrollable. Her mouth opened in shock as her fart reverberated around the small room. She covered her face, mortified by the stench that filled the air.
Finally, she made her decision. Taking a deep breath, she swallowed the pill and hoped for the best. It took a few minutes, but gradually, the pain subsided. The pressure in her stomach eased, and the need to fart became less insistent.
Feeling more confident, she made her way back to her bedroom. As she unlocked the door, she couldn't help but hold her breath. The smell from earlier still lingered in the air, a constant reminder of her embarrassing situation.
Taking a deep breath, she stepped inside, ready to face whatever was waiting for her. And as she closed the door behind her, she heard a faint whisper from within. It was a soft, almost inaudible sound, but it sent shivers down her spine.
Was someone still in the bathroom? It sounded like someone was crying, or... something else. Ariel hesitated, her heart racing. She took a step forward, hand trembling as she reached out to turn the doorknob.
But before she could open the door, she heard footsteps approaching from downstairs. Panicked, she turned and fled back to her room, slamming the door shut behind her. She stood there, panting, her mind reeling with the possibilities.
Was there someone else in the house? Or was it all just her imagination, playing tricks on her? She didn't know, and she didn't want to find out. All she knew was that she was never going back into that bathroom, not until she could figure out what was going on.
And so, Ariel spent the rest of the day locked in her room, the smell of her own farts lingering like a bad memory. She tried to forget about the whispering, the footsteps, and the feeling that she wasn't alone in the house. But no matter how hard she tried, she couldn't shake the feeling that something was watching her, waiting for her next move.
As night fell, she finally mustered the courage to venture out of her room. She tiptoed down the hallway, her heart pounding in her chest. When she reached the bathroom, she hesitated, hand on the doorknob.
Taking a deep breath, she turned the handle and pushed the door open. The room was empty, lit only by the dim light from the hallway. She stepped inside, her eyes darting around the room. Everything was as she had left it, except for the lingering scent of her farts, which seemed to linger even longer in the stillness of the night.
Feeling relieved, she made her way back to her room, determined to keep the bathroom door locked from now on. As she crawled back into bed, she couldn't help but wonder what was really going on in the house. Was it all just her imagination, or was there something else at play?
She shuddered at the thought, pulling the covers up to her chin. The only thing she knew for sure was that she never wanted to experience another bathroom battle again. And so, with that thought in mind, she drifted off to sleep, hoping for a peaceful night.
