Gassy Nurse's Unconventional Treatment
Lilly was a young and ambitious nurse who had just finished her shift at the hospital. She walked briskly towards the exit, her mind still reeling from the day's events. Her patient, Daniel Santiago, had been complaining of discomfort all day, and Lilly had done her best to alleviate his pain. But as she prepared to leave for the day, she had an idea that might just help him feel better.
As she walked down the hallway, Lilly couldn't help but smile to herself. She knew that her plan was somewhat unconventional, but it had worked wonders for her in the past. After all, a good laugh was sometimes all that someone needed to feel better.
When she entered Daniel's room, she found him lying in bed, his eyes closed and his breathing shallow. "Hello, Mr. Santiago," she said with a bright smile. "How are you feeling today?"
Daniel opened his eyes and gave her a weak smile in return. "I'm not sure, Lilly," he said, his voice barely above a whisper. "I just can't seem to shake this nagging pain."
Lilly nodded sympathetically, but inside, she was already formulating her plan. "Well, I have an idea that might help," she said, her voice soft and soothing. "Why don't we try a little experiment?"
Daniel raised an eyebrow in curiosity. "An experiment?" he asked cautiously.
"Yes," said Lilly, her voice taking on a more playful tone. "I want you to close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose."
Daniel did as he was told, inhaling deeply. As he did, he felt a strange sensation in his nostrils - it was like someone had lit a match and blown it out, over and over again. He opened his eyes to find Lilly standing over him, grinning from ear to ear.
"What did you do?" he asked, his voice cracking with surprise.
"Oh, nothing much," said Lilly nonchalantly. "I just wanted to make sure that your treatment was as effective as possible."
Daniel's eyes widened in disbelief. "You... you farted in my face?" he sputtered.
Lilly laughed, the sound ringing through the hospital room. "Now, now," she said, trying to calm him down. "It's for your own good, remember?"
Daniel couldn't believe what was happening. He'd never been so embarrassed in his life, but surprisingly, he also felt a little bit better. The pain was still there, but it wasn't as intense as it had been before.
"Well," said Lilly, patting his hand reassuringly. "I think that's enough for today. Why don't you try to get some rest?"
As she turned to leave the room, she couldn't help but smile to herself. Sometimes, the most unconventional treatments were the most effective. And if this little experiment could help Mr. Santiago feel better, then it was well worth it.
