The Interview That Went Awry
As the interviewer began the proceedings, he could sense a hint of nervousness in the applicant's demeanor. The position was quite desirable, and any candidate would be lucky to land it. Nevertheless, the interviewer couldn't help but notice a peculiar expression on the applicant's face. Was it due to the rigorous questions or something else entirely?
The interviewer, unaware of the cause, pressed on with the interview. He provided general information about the job and asked a few questions to gauge the applicant's suitability for the role. As they talked, something caught his attention. Was that a faint whiff of something foul in the air? Could it be...?
Suddenly, the interviewer realized the cause of the applicant's discomfort. It was none other than his own farts! He had been oblivious to the constant stream of gases escaping his rear end during the interview. The man was momentarily taken aback before composing himself once more.
With a stern look on his face, he scolded the applicant, "How dare you embarrass me about my little gassy issue! You are aware that I am your boss, correct?" The applicant lowered his head in shame, knowing that he had crossed a line. But he couldn't help it; the farts were just too overpowering.
The interviewer sighed, trying to maintain his composure. This was going to be a long day. "Sure, I realize that my farts can be a bit distracting," he said, attempting to lighten the mood. "But everyone else in the office just pretends like they don't notice. Now, can we be adults here and continue with the interview? Good! Though I must warn you, the farts are only going to get worse, so I hope you can handle it, mister."
The interview continued, albeit with a few more uncomfortable moments due to the interviewer's persistent flatulence. However, they managed to get through it and even discuss relevant topics without any major incidents. As the session drew to a close, the interviewer made his decision.
"I must say," he said, standing up and extending his hand for a handshake, "you have impressed me with your answers. Consider yourself hired. The position is yours, mister." The applicant breathed a sigh of relief and accepted the offer, grateful for the opportunity.
As they finished their conversation and parted ways, the interviewer couldn't help but wonder if this was going to be a wise decision. After all, working so closely with someone who farted as much as he did could get quite...ruffling.
