An Unconventional Job Interview
Eleonore entered the office, nervously clutching her portfolio. She had been called for an interview with her boss, and she couldn't help but wonder what it was all about. As she stepped inside, he greeted her with a warm smile and gestured towards a seat.
"Please, have a seat. I've been meaning to talk to you about something," he said, his tone serious now.
Eleonore sat down, feeling a knot forming in her stomach. What could she have done wrong? Had she made a mistake at work? She took a sip of water from the glass in front of her, trying to calm her nerves.
"I called you here today because I have something very important to discuss with you," he began. "I believe you have the potential to do great things in this company, and I want to offer you a new position."
Eleonore's heart leapt with excitement. A promotion? She couldn't believe her luck!
"But before we talk about that," he continued, "I need you to watch this video."
He handed her a tablet, and she reluctantly took it, fearing the worst. As she watched, she saw herself on screen, speaking with a colleague about their plans to fart in the boss's office as a form of revenge. Suddenly, the reality of the situation hit her like a ton of bricks.
"I... I understand," she stammered, looking up at him, embarrassment and confusion written all over her face.
"Yes, I'm sure you do," he replied, his tone now serious. "I think it's time we stopped pretending that farting and going to the bathroom when we want isn't a natural part of life. We're all human beings, after all."
Eleonore couldn't believe what she was hearing. Her boss was actually advocating for her right to fart and go to the bathroom whenever she wanted? This was unlike anything she had ever experienced before.
"And with that in mind," he continued, "I'd like to offer you a new position. One that embraces your unique abilities and celebrates them for what they are."
Eleonore couldn't believe her ears. She had never been so happy to hear someone talk about farting and going to the bathroom! She couldn't wait to see what this new position entailed.
As she left the office, still reeling from the unexpected turn of events, she realized that this was exactly the kind of environment she had always dreamed of working in. A place where people could be themselves, without fear of judgment or embarrassment. And as the laxative began to take effect, she couldn't help but smile, knowing that she would soon have the chance to embrace her natural urges in a way that she had never dreamed possible.
