As I sat on the couch, watching TV with my girlfriend, my stomach began to rumble. It was one of those deep, guttural noises that couldn't be ignored. "What was that?" she asked, looking over at me. "Oh, nothing," I replied, trying to play it cool. But I knew what was coming next.
